Permed hair has been chemically treated to curl. A relaxer is also a chemical that relaxes/removes the curl. If your hair is already permed...You CAN'T relax it because the hair has already been weakened by the perm. If you relax permed hair it will fall out because it has been double processed/damaged.You have to let the perm grow out or cut it out before applying a relaxer to it. This is the safest way.
