    1. This worked for a friend of mine [external link]

    2. ive used nail polish remover, and it worked for me.hope it works for you….

    3. Try a peroxide rinse. 1/3 peroxide,30% volume 1/3 harsh shampoo or dishwashing liquid, 1/3 distilled water. take a scrub brush and work it into the carpet then rinse and see if this gets it up.Use a brush every vew days with this solutiion until it comes up. If it won’t come out you may have to rent a carpet steam cleaner. Permanment hair dye is hard to get out. You might haveta remove the carpet.

    4. I can tell you how NOT to do it. I got semi permanent stuff on my carpet so for the next few months, everytime I would shower, I’d clean that carpet spot when I got out. I figured eventually it would wash out. WRONG. I kinda knew it wouldn’t work anyway. That nail polish remover idea sounds pretty good though.

    5. I know this is ‘locking the stable door after the horse has bolted’ but next time cover the entire area where you are working with newspaper. I always do this and it works fine.

    6. Things You’ll Need:Dishwashing Liquid Cleaning Cloths Cloth Vinegar Step1Blot the stain immediately with a clean, white cloth. Step2Mix a solution of 1/4 tsp. liquid hand-dishwashing soap and 1 cup lukewarm water. Step3Blot stain with soap solution, using a clean, white cloth. Blot from the outside of the stain, working inward. Step4Let sit a few minutes. Step5Mix a solution of 1 part vinegar to 2 parts lukewarm water. Step6Dab stain with vinegar solution, again working from the outside in. Step7Once the stain has disappeared, flush the area with cold water and blot dry with a clean, white cloth. ___________________If you don’t have success with these methods, you will have to call in a professional carpet cleaner.
